A few words first

Saga exists to support your learning — not to extract value from your data.

This notice explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

What Saga does

Saga is a voice-based learning companion that helps you:

• clarify what matters to you in a learning experience
• reflect on insights
• turn learning into action
• follow up over time in a way that fits you

To do this well, Saga needs to remember some things. We're intentional about keeping that to a minimum.

What data we collect

We only collect data that directly supports your learning journey.

This may include:

• your name or display name
• basic information about the training or experience you're part of
• your learning goals and learning questions
• reflections, insights, and action steps you choose to share
• progress check-ins and follow-up notes

Voice and transcripts

Saga does not store raw voice recordings by default.

• Conversations are transcribed briefly so Saga can understand and respond.
• Transcripts are summarized into structured learning notes.
• Raw transcripts are deleted shortly after processing.

What we don't collect

• We don't collect sensitive personal data (such as health, political views, or beliefs).
• We don't sell or share your data.
• We don't use your conversations to train public AI models.

Why we process your data

We process your data in order to:

• support your learning and reflection
• remember what matters to you over time
• help you follow through on intentions and actions
• improve continuity between conversations

The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent and, where relevant, the delivery of a learning service you've chosen to use.

Where your data is stored

• Your data is stored securely in the EU.
• We use trusted service providers (such as voice, database, and AI infrastructure providers) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements.

Saga remains responsible for how your data is handled.

How long we keep your data

• Your data is kept while your account or learning journey is active.
• If you stop using Saga, your data will be deleted after a defined period.
• Temporary voice transcripts are deleted shortly after use.

Your rights

You are always in control of your data.

You can:

• request a copy of everything Saga has stored about you
• ask us to correct something that's inaccurate
• ask us to delete all your data ("right to be forgotten")

If we make meaningful changes to how Saga handles data, we'll update this notice and let you know.
